With wide industry knowledge and insight, both as an Angel investor and as a Telco industry insider, Daniel Gill started Augnet with an ambitious plan to disrupt and revolutionise the SMS sector. Since founding the company, he has raised investment from a range of seasoned investors, including lead investor the venture capital firm Triple Point. His leadership of Augnet follows a decade with Skype and Microsoft, where he led a high-performance team and spearheaded a number of ground-breaking business development initiatives in the telecoms space. With his leadership Augnet is on track to revolutionise the way things are done in the SMS space.

Jekaterina Orlova is an authority in business development and strategy, in particular in setting up early-stage tech companies for success. Following ten years at Skype and Microsoft, where she was a Business Development Manager, Jekaterina worked as a Senior Technology Consultant at Deloitte, specialising in Cloud services, Connectivity and Digital workplace transformation within the financial services industry. Following this, she advised and scaled tech start-ups and SMEs. In 2018 Jekaterina joined Augnet, where her boundless energy and focus have moved the company at a fast pace towards its goals, and have enabled it to push past every milestone ahead of target.

Andy Steward is an experienced and innovative CTO and Product Manager with a strong background in entrepreneurial and commercial businesses. He has invaluable experience in the Telco industry having worked at Amdocs as Head of Innovation with a particular focus on Singtel and AT&T Labs. Andy led a dedicated team at Amdocs that was responsible for testing and incubating new ideas jointly funded by the telcos. Most recently, Andy has focused on building technology based on the latest industry trends for Cloud infrastructure, an approach that will bring the necessary scalability to the Augnet platform.

Jonathan Kendall is a recognised information and communications technology (ICT) industry expert, specialising in building enterprise-ready, go-to-market sales and marketing infrastructures. Jonathan has headed up teams at Juniper Networks, Vodafone, Telstra, Motorola and Capgemini. Over the past five years, he was retained by venture capital firms to work within disruptors in their portfolios including Comverse, Skipjaq and Zalaris to deliver significant growth and help initiate and accelerate product-market fit. Jonathan brings his extensive experience and a far-reaching network to build strategic partnerships that will draw engagement and create new avenues to further strengthen the Augnet offering.

Investment Team
Triple Point is a multi-strategy alternative investment manager with AUM of £1.5 billion across four strategies: venture capital, real estate, private debt, and infrastructure.

Founded in 2004, Triple Point provides funding to a range of businesses and organisations in both the public and private sector, including the NHS, Local Authorities, housing associations, infrastructure developers and small and medium-sized businesses. Triple Point managed funds have invested in multiple energy infrastructure projects including heat networks and distributed energy projects in the private and public sector.

Charles Delingpole

Charles Delingpole founded ComplyAdvantage in 2014, and as CEO leads the product development and growth of the company. Charles set up his first company, The Student Room Group, now the world’s largest student discussion forum, when he was 16. After completing his MA in Politics at Trinity College Cambridge, and then an MSc in Management, Strategy and Finance from the LSE, he became an associate at J.P. Morgan Cazenove. He then went on to co-found FinTech firm MarketInvoice, a peer to peer financing company which uses customer data to digitise the approach to financial risk analysis.

Stuart Gardner

Stuart was a founding team member at Comufy, which was acquired by King.com (the makers of Candy Crush), as well as being a graduate of the 500 Startups accelerator programme in Silicon Valley. Stuart has invested in over 20 early stage technology companies across Europe and North America, and splits his time between investing in new startups, and working with and advising his current portfolio companies.

Thomas James

Thomas James jointly founded 2 companies that subsequently went on to IPO. During the last 5 years Thomas has invested in over 20 startups including; @zendesk, @onelogin, @haufe-umantis, @tessian, @cognism, @chartmogul. Most of his investments have received venture funding, and are very successful with some very notable exits.

Ian Fulton

For the past 25 years Ian Fulton has been working as a Finance Director for high growth technology companies including Skype, Space Ape Games, NewVoiceMedia, Phone.com and Silicon Graphics. At Skype, Ian joined as Group Finance Director, initially part time, when they had zero revenue and six employees. Just 18 months later, Ian was part of the core team that sold Skype to eBay for €2.5 billion.
