Funding update in Media: Triple Point lead £1.3 million investment round We’re delighted to welcome all our Angels and Triple Point to Augnet’s team of investors following our recent successful funding round! The possibilities our patented technology offers to established businesses fits perfectly with Triple Point’s focus on high-potential start-ups built to provide solutions for large corporates, and we look forward to a productive partnership. New Venture Creation at Cass University: from founding to funding As a graduate of Cass University’s MBA programme and former participant in its New Venture Creation scheme, Augnet founder and CEO Daniel Gill has a long-running relationship with this respected and renowned institution. Should our application for the Innovate UK grant be successful, this partnership will soon take on a new form as we collaborate to develop Augnet’s offering.  Ahead of this potential collaboration, Dan spoke with the university to outline his and Augnet’s journey from the initial concept to successful investor conversations. You can read the article here.  Augnet Team updates 1. Augnet is hiring for Chairman of the Board of Directors We are in the process of recruiting for our Chairman of the Board of Directors. Please feel free to make recommendations or enquire for further details.

2. New Hires in Engineering Team Backed Server developer David joined Augnet in May. Two additional engineers joined Engineering team in June: Head of Architecture and Lead developer Jakub and FE iOS and Android developer Olya. Warm welcome!

3. First Board meeting  First Augnet's Board meeting took place on the 4th of June. Augnet Investor & Partner event Augnet Investor & Partner event at the City of London’s Vault in Leadenhall Street was a huge success. In attendance were a lively mix of Augnet’s Angel investors, VCs, partners and friends of Augnet of who helped the company to get to where it is now. Augnet CEO Daniel Gill and COO Jekaterina Orlova spoke about Augnet’s mission to bring quality and credibility to the SMS and messaging industry via its unique technology, the first to be able to track 100% of message delivery and outlined future plans. Guests were treated to the first ever live demonstration (outside the company) of Augnet’s technology and, even in an underground room with walls more than three feet thick, a text was instantly delivered, with demonstrated tracking. Originally the strong room of the Midland Bank the Vault venue, with its safety deposit boxes still in place, served as a fitting venue for celebrating Augnet’s mission to bring security to the SMS sector.
