It’s been a busy month at Augnet, with a focus on recruiting, on-boarding new team-members and advancing our funding and grant applications. As we approach March, the activities will shift towards the implementation of our 1st client. This year promises to get more and more exciting as it progresses. Our 1st major milestone achievement is anticipated towards the end of April. Watch this space!
New hires
Our engineering team has grown! 3 engineers are starting 4th of March, all of which have previously worked with Andy. Their respective specialist areas are Android Operating System, Java micro-service for our messaging infrastructure and Web-based SPA skills such as ReactJS for the Dashboard. This team will drive our development efforts forwards with an aim to complete our initial roadmap release in the next 6 months. Over this time, we will also continue to expand the team to add velocity to our roadmap and allow us to integrate into a wider number of partners.
Product, Roadmap and Funding updates
Owing to our new CTO ability to recruit some of his past team members, and due to successful funding round being closed shortly - we were able to accelerate our roadmap quite considerably. Details are available upon request.

3. Funding round
The current round will be closed by the end of March. Final discussions are being held with Angel investors and a number of VCs. Our main focus has shifted away from cash-only angels, and towards high-impact/ strategic Angels and VCs. We would like to express our gratitude to our Angels for their confidence in Augnet. The commitments received from our angels has been of a higher average value than what is considered typical.
